Kale

My kale seeds have sprouted.

I think they're so cute.

We had a freeze last night/this morning, but the little kale seedlings still seem to be doing well.

Are you having colder weather this weekend?

  2. We've had a couple of days below freezing this week. Now it's just cold and rainy. I didn't plant kale, but my radishes and turnips have just come up.

  4. Our Amish nurseries all opened this weekend but we are close to freezing temps at night. It is so hard to resist but we are resisting - at least another 2 weeks.

  5. Last weekend in the upper 80s.
This weekend? Not so much. But, tbh, it's April. I'm good with it.

  6. Nice job with the kale! We have a gorgeous 70 degree sunny day today and it will be even warmer tomorrow before dropping back into the 50-60 range for a while.

  7. Yeah, things cooled off a lot for us the past couple days. (Although, nothing to complain about, really.) Cute little kale.

  10. I love growing things but gave up on kale. We don’t like it enough. It survived and island winter out in our yard.
