I wasn't sure what to do for my J post.
So, I scrolled through my pictures hoping for inspiration. I came across these pictures of jellyfish from when we visited the SC Aquarium last year.I definitely wouldn't want to encounter one at the beach, but I think they're beautiful.
They just seem so peaceful.
If you're doing the A to Z Challenge, was J hard for you? If you're not doing the challenge, is any particular letter the reason?
We have a jellyfish season here when the beaches are full of the stingy creatures. I love to watch them floating along the shoreline.
ReplyDeleteThey are so neat! One of our local zoos has a nice display of them.
ReplyDeleteJ was not hard for me, I struggled with Q,X, and Z. But Jellyfish is a great choice for J, they do look peaceful just floating along with the current. I went with Jurassic Park, the book not the movie, although I do reference the movie in my review.
ReplyDelete'Q' was tough, but I managed to find one.

ReplyDeleteLike so many people I always struggles with Q, X and Z. But a few other letters were a bit hard his year, ones you'd least expect. And some offered more than one possible idea.
My go-to is always food. Currently I am spreading homemade blackberry jam on my toast - there you go! And don't give me any credit, my neighbor is the jam maker.
ReplyDeleteI love to watch jelly fish. They do seem so peaceful. I did Jurassic Park also for J, but struggle with most letters. I can think of lots of words, but not ones that are easy to write about.
ReplyDeleteThat was the difficult part for me. Since I wrote about history, it was fairly easy to find a letter. All I needed to do was scroll through an index of a history book to find a possible entry. Now, as to WHAT to write about it (and-more difficult-trying to insert some wiseguy bits)? That was tough.
DeleteJellyfish are fascinating to watch, I hope I never encounter one in the wild, though.

Any pictures of the rare Peanutbutterandjellyfish?
ReplyDelete'J' wasn't too difficult. 'X' would have been, but I wrote a post about that letter years ago. I just brushed it off and reposted it. It was a long post, though. Which is why I split it into three parts and posted the last two parts in May.
I like your jellyfish, and yes, J was - surprisingly - hard for me, as was letter I. This year X, W and Z were easier!
ReplyDeleteWe agree! We don't want to encounter jellies in the ocean, but we think they are absolutely mesmerizing in the aquarium. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm having trouble with all the letters. There was only one post where I started writing that the title came to me easily. I just scheduled much of the next two weeks of posts. You would not believe how long it took me to come up with some of the titles.
ReplyDeleteAnd I haven't even gotten to X, Y, or Z yet.
