The weather may be crazy, but the peonies are blooming. They’re holding their own in spite of the rain, wind, and crazy fluctuating temperatures.
I absolutely love these flowers! I think they’re beautiful, and they’re usually the beginning of the bushes in our yard blooming. That always makes me happy.
What’s blooming where you are?
Love these, they make my wife sneeze....still live them.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers! Not much blooming here in the desert except dust storms with the high winds we've been having :)
ReplyDeleteTook a bit of a blogging break, but back up and running so to speak :)

ReplyDeleteThey're very pretty. I have no idea what's blooming around here, but whatever it is is doing a number on my sinuses.
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE peonies. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe daffodils and forsythia have begun blooming here, but the wildly fluctuating temperatures are confusing everything.
Peonies are lovely. They're a bit like camellias. Our camellia bush is flowering like crazy right now.
ReplyDeleteMom had two peonie bushes. She watched for them to bloom each year around Memorial Day and would put them on family graves. Such a short lived flower, she treasured them. (She called them "pinies".)
ReplyDeleteA plant I do not have in my yard but have always loved them. Very pretty.
