Number 3 – Contributed to the Local Food Bank

I have not abandoned my 31 Things Project!  I’m actually right on schedule with doing the things, it’s just posting about them that seems to be the challenge.  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and the Christmas tree is up, looking happy and festive, as well as providing hours of entertainment for the cats.
Now, on to number 3:
I went out Tuesday night to finish up most of the shopping for Thanksgiving dinner, and the grocery store was asking for donations to the local food bank.  I made a small donation to them because everyone needs dinner.

  2. Very nice. Our state fair wasn't too long ago and one of the days you can donate to the local food bank. We usually go that day and take a nice bag of stuff. Glad yall had a great Thanksgiving!

  4. That was a great thing to do, Danielle! I know one of our local stores has where you buy a bag of groceries for $10 for the food bank. When they ask if I want to buy one, I always say yes because I figure if I have a basketful of food, I can share my abundance with others :)

Glad you had a great Thanksgiving! Its hard to believe Christmas is so soon, good start to have your tree up :)

    1. What a great attitude about buying the food!

I LOVE the Christmas tree, so we always get it put up pretty close to Thanksgiving. :-)

  5. Hi Danielle,

This touches my heart. Having spent Christmas Day feeding the homeless, the rough sleepers, your compassion is warmly embraced.
