Number 17 – Donated to PetSmart Charities

(Part of my 31 things project.)
Last weekend we found ourselves in PetSmart to buy food and toys for the fur kids.  I love the fact that PetSmart doesn’t sell kittens or puppies, and that they do a lot for animal rescue groups like giving them space to house pets and hold adoption events.
The group we adopted Milo from is one of the rescue groups that benefits from this, so it hits home.  Because PetSmart chooses to share their space Milo had a safe place to wait for us to come along and adopt him, and so have over a million other pets.
So when we checked out and the option to donate came up, we gladly gave them a small donation.

  1. Pet Smart is Koda's favorite store :) Great to contribute to a worthy cause!

    1. Our fur kids seem to recognize the bags, and always get super excited.

  2. Sorry I haven't been around lately, Danielle. Been rather busy. However, you have touched on something dear to Penny the Jack Russell dog's heart and my heart. A donation to such a good cause is duly noted. Those shops that get puppies from "Puppy Farms" or "Puppy Mills", make us very angry.

Well done to you and your kind heart.

    Gary :)

    1. Gary, thank you for taking the time to stop by at all. It's an honor that you take the time to visit. We refuse to shop at any store that sells puppies or kittens - just not going to support that kind of evil.

Thank you for taking the time to comment! Please leave your link so I can visit you as well.
