Happy Hump Day - The Thanksgiving Song Edition



Thanksgiving is definitely my favorite holiday. By far. It’s a day that’s all about spending time with the people you love. And cooking for them. What’s not to love?

I haven’t heard very many Thanksgiving songs, but I absolutely love this one by Mary Chapin Carpenter. I hope you do too.

So what about you? Do you love Thanksgiving? Do you have a favorite Thanksgiving song?

    I did not know there was a Thanksgiving song. This would have been useful the other day when some 8th graders brought up this very topic.

    I do like Thanksgiving. I'm a fan of turkey, and we rarely have family drama. Except for that one year (when we had to call the cops)...

    I had not heard that song before; so pretty and such great pictures that went with it! I don't have a favorite Thanksgiving song, I'm trying to think if I even know any that are specifically for Thanksgiving. It is always good though to give thanks and to have a day to do so :)

    I had to laugh about Liz' comment about the family drama on that one Thanksgiving. Hope this one for them is a bit more drama free :)

    What a pretty song! I'm glad you shared this Thanksgiving song, because the only one I could think of was done by Adam Sandler when he was on SNL years ago (and it was silly/stupid). :)
