Since we’ve had so much snow, and I’ve been staying inside so much (because I HATE snow), I don’t have much for a Thursday 13 this week.
So, it seems like a good time to share a very random
assortment of pictures that I’m fairly sure I haven’t posted here before.
1. Of
course, I’m going to start off with a cat picture. I think Mortimer looks adorable here.
2. This was at a vacation rental that we stayed at in 2023. I think these hand mirrors are antique (or at least vintage). They were displayed on a wall in the bathroom, and I thought it was a great idea. It seemed like a fun way to display a collection without really taking up space.
3. I enjoy taking pictures of the sky, and I thought it was beautiful this particular evening.
10. This was the first time I successfully built a cooking fire entirely on my own after Hurricane Helene. I’m not the outdoorsy type, so it felt like a major accomplishment.

I can't wait to be able to walk outside again! I just won't do it until all the ice and snow are gone from our sidewalks, so it will probably be 3 more months, unless we get some 70 degree days. UGH! I love seeing beach pictures, any time of year. That was a really cool mirror display!
ReplyDeleteFun and interesting pictures. I had to look up where Kiawah Island is. Looks pretty. I'm tire of cold and snow. I would have a lot of adjusting to do if I moved north. :)
ReplyDeleteI just love it when a cat goes on its back. Lizzie hasn't done that in ages apart for a total rollover. The suitcase photos made me smile!
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to go through the archives. Spring will be here before you know it. (I will not talk about the weather. I will not talk about the weather. I will not talk about the weather.)
ReplyDeleteYou took some great photos. I especially love those of the cats, as always!
ReplyDeleteI am very much ready for the winter weather to be over!
ReplyDeleteI am not an outdoors person and certainly not an outdoors winter person. On days I that I put on my boots and coat and step foot out the door - I am so proud of myself.
