Your Hydrangea bush is gorgeous! I wouldn't be able to trim that back either. Not much blooming in my yard now other than the wild Indian blanket flowers that pop up all over my yard. They grow wild here in my area of Florida like weeds, but luckily they are really pretty too. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a Happy Sunday and a great week :)
Beautiful hydrangea!! I agree, I wouldn't cut it back unless it became a hazard in some way. Nothing blooming here, LOL; not at 116 degrees outside! I think things (including people) are wilting :)
We have 4 Hydrangea bushes, but get about 5 flowers total because the deer eat the buds. We have netting over, but they tear right through. Disappointing. I have a few gladiola blooming, but I’m not a fan and didn’t plant them. Our lavender looks great right now.
Your hydrangea is beautiful. I always admire them, they don't do well on my balcony. Thanks for your visit on my blog today, nice to meet you. Hugs, Valerie
Our sunflowers and tomato plants are going crazy in the heat. :)

It's lovely. I don't know what's blooming here, but it's doing a number on my sinuses.

ReplyDeletePlenty of things blooming in our garden - potentilla, St John's Wort, hydrangea, poppies. I'm just about to plant lots of narcissi for next spring.
ReplyDeleteWe are past peony time now. Early for hydrangea though. I couldn’t time that bush either!

ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean about hating to trim back anything with flowers!
