While the groundhogs are the most frequent visitors to our critter corner, we do have some other visitors, especially at night while the groundhogs are tucked into their burrows.
Here are a couple of videos of our raccoon visitors.
My husband is at war with raccoons here! There was construction near us a few years ago and the raccoons all moved to my street. He has constructed an enclosure for our trash cans that even I can't open. All the neighbors had to move any outdoor furniture away from windows or they would spot those bandit faces peering in at them. And they had to keep windows locked!!! We had some that would try to shimmy up the drain pipe to our roof, but we washed them down with some solution he found to repel raccoons and they haven't tried that recently.
It's like you're running a buffet restaurant!
