My husband has had odd hours over the years and we've had to eat at odd times as well. But, it's wonderful to be flexible and celebrate any time! So glad you had a perfect time.
Marianne (Mare) Baker Ballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03663143060069193124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7744942361776579041.post-271006023181747252012-11-20T08:11:00.661-05:002012-11-20T08:11:00.661-05:00A good strategy - get a whole day instead of half....A good strategy - get a whole day instead of half.

Recipe is inviting.Peaches Ledwidgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13406881743264774589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7744942361776579041.post-7438214754876073192012-11-19T12:31:07.025-05:002012-11-19T12:31:07.025-05:00wow that's a lot of great food---i love how yo...wow that's a lot of great food---i love how you changed it up and made it work so beautifully:)Lynn Proctorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16349867270815243053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7744942361776579041.post-1893257354171694122012-11-17T23:59:30.506-05:002012-11-17T23:59:30.506-05:00I think it is neat how you came up with a solution...I think it is neat how you came up with a solution to have the holiday celebration you wanted to have on day that would work better for people's schedules and that you weren't so rigid thinking it a holiday could only be celebrated on the actual day. I agree with you; whenever friends are together celebrating, that is what really matters.

Sounds like a great array of food too! I'm sure it all tasted so very good!

It is neat too that you are willing to pick up the torch and do holiday dinners in coming years too!

It is neat to read of your enthusiasm about the holidays. I tend to dread them, so it is refreshing to read a different perspective!

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7744942361776579041.post-8999693709311284952012-11-17T21:52:27.005-05:002012-11-17T21:52:27.005-05:00Sounds like a great celebration!
